Nurse and Memory Care Assistant Job Summary:

Nurses and Memory Care Assistants at San Gabriel are fundamental to our success in providing excellent care to our residents. As a nurse or caregiver for our team, you will have the opportunity to get to know our residents on a personal basis and perform the following tasks:

  • Provide personalized and nurturing care to residents, assisting with daily tasks such as dressing, incontinence care, eating, bathing, and chores.
  • Oversee and participate in fun activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, caregivers, providers, and family members to ensure effective communication and excellent care.
  • Respond to medical or safety issues as they arise, ensuring the well-being of our residents.

CNAs, CMAs, and RMAs are also encouraged to apply!

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous caregiving experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is available.
  • Must be available to work every other weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Compassion, understanding, patience, and a willingness to help are essential qualities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are necessary to coordinate care with the team.
